My name is Maggie Maidl and I am a graduate from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. I am from Deale, Maryland; however, I am interested in relocating to a new city.

I fell in love with design at a young age. I used to love rearranging my room as a child and would sketch out different layouts to figure out all of my options and which one I liked the best. I also used to love mathematics because of the challenge problem-solving presented.  However, I loved sculpture just as much because there were no solidified answers -- you create your own problem and you solve it in your own creative and artistic way.  My passion for problem solving and creating is what drew me to design.

I believe that being able to sculpt the way a person feels within a space is one of the most  powerful things someone can do. Having the ability to shape the public's sense of well-being, happiness, security, and comfortability within a space is what inspires me to become an interior designer.
